Guide How to Farming Attaking
Guide: Sending 5 attacks in under a second Using the Opera browser, any player is able to send up to 5 attacks in under 1 second. Tribal Wars limits the amount of attacks you can send per second to 5, thus only being able to send 5 attacks in under 1 second. The following guide is to teach you how to setup and use the Opera Browser to send 5 attacks in under 1 second: Once you have downloaded and installed Opera, the first thing you must do is enable JavaScript. To do this, click "Tools" in your tool bar at the top of the browser, and then mouse over "Quick Preferences". Mouse over the new pop-up menu and select "Edit Site Preferences". This will open up a new window, select the "Scripting" tab. Make sure that "Enable JavaScript" is checked. See image below for details: Next, you must enable single-key short cuts. To do this, select "Tools" again in the tool bar at the top of the Opera Browser. Mouse down and select "Preferences". Within the new window that pops up, select the "Advanced" tab. Within the menu on the left, select "Shortcuts". Now, within the menu that just populated on the right, make sure that "Single-Key short cuts" is checked. Hit okay to save any changes. See the image below for details. One final step of setting this up before I explain how to use this to get the 1 second attack. Go back up to the tool bar within the Opera Browser and click "View". Scroll your mouse down over "Images" to open up another popup menu and then click on "Cached Images". You won't get any feedback telling you that it worked, but trust me, it does. You'll never need to do this again, as it saves immediately. All changes made above should never be adjusted. These adjustments are necessary for the 1 second attack to work, so just leave it be from here on out. Sending 5 attacks in 1 second! First, you must pick your target. Using the Tabbing feature, you'll want to set up 5 different attacks directed at your target. You can use the middle mouse button (the mouse wheel) to open new tabs by pressing the mouse wheel while hovering over a link in the browser. Make sure to set up all of your attacks and get them to the page where your next button click will send the troops to the destination. You should see this in your browser when you've reached this point: The next step, after you have your attacks setup and ready to go, you right click the "Okay" button. This will highlight the "Okay" button in a tan tint. Make sure you do that for each "Okay" button for each attack. Here is the important part...make sure that your first attack that you want sent is on the screen before you move on. For example, if you're sending a noble train and you have a nuke going first...make sure that your screen is showing the nuke first so that it is sent before the noble train. This step is the vital step. Now that we've highlighted the okay buttons we can press the enter key on each page to make the browser press the okay button for us. This removes any mouse-clicks needed to send the attack. Also, pressing the "2" key will switch tabs from left to right. So, you combine these two short cuts and you press, in this order, "enter", "2", "enter", "2", "enter", "2", "enter", "2", "enter" and you've just sent off 5 attacks. The faster you press the keys, the more likely your attacks will be sent in under a second. WARNING: Sometimes the server lags and places the attacks out of order. I suggest giving any nukes you're sending about a half a second head start to avoid the chance that the server will lag your nuke into arriving after a noble. Guide: Send noble train noble train A noble train as a series of 4 attacks, each which contain an amount of troops and a noblemen. The closer these 4 attacks are to each other, the harder it is for the defender to get support between these attacks and kill any of these nobles. Once you have several villages, it's interesting to build 4 nobles in the same village so you can launch a train that has a small time window. Though there are still players that are able to put in troops between these attacks. To minimize this time window to 1second or less there are several techniques: Sending noble train I think some of us can't time their nobles so that they arrive at the same time so I will write how I'm doing that. Maybe someone does it better but it works for me. First this is only if you are sending all nobles from the same villages. 1st method: Open rally point of that village in 4 different browsers, choose troops which you want to send in attacks and press attack but don't press ok yet. You should have 1 noble and escort troops in each attack and each attack must be created in new browser so that you could minimize and change size of the browser. You must adjust the size so that you could see all 4 ok buttons at the same time. And after that you just have to press ok at all 4 pages at the same time. I think my best with this was all 4 nobles in 0.5 second and worst in 1-1.5sec. 2nd method: If you use a browser that has the possibility of using multiple tab-pages, instead of opening plural browser pages (like above), make 5 tab pages. You can easily switch between tab pages by clicking CTRL and TAB for some browsers, other browsers also do it with SHIFT and ENTER, so only thing you have to do is click each time on OK, which will appear on the same spot each time, so no need to move mouse. With a lot of practice you'll easily get them so close that none can support the village between the noble landing times. Some notes about sending train... Instead of sending 4 nobles, 5 nobles should be used almost every time (when nobling hostile villages). They should be sent out like this: 6000axe 2500LC 500MA 240RAMS 1 noble 100 axe 1 noble 100 axe 1 noble 100 axe 1 noble 100 axe 1 noble Reason why to use 5 instead of 4 noblemen: (against active target) 1) As you want to have it in once, best to be sure you'll have it. With extreme luck you can have it with 3 nobles, bad luck you'll need 5 nobles. 2) Sometimes the target is able to support between your clearing landings and noble train landing, and just enough to kill 50% of the troops in your first attack, which will mean your nobleman dies as well. So you can (hopefully) still noble it with the 4 nobles still following. This is a guide for all people that are uncomment with having trains which take about 0, 5-1, 5 secs and who want to make their trains (almost) impossible to snipe. I used to fight players that were able to snipe within 0, 25 secs so I needed to come up with a solution that would make nobling quicker and save nobles costs. Here are the requirements: Opera Once you have installed opera you need to change a few settings. Put in opera: config in your web bar. Not click on performance. Change following settings to that: Max Connections Server: 16 Max Connections Total: 64 Network Buffer Size: 32 Next go to view=>pictures and select "pictures in cache“. Now your screen might lack a few pics but do not worry about it, you can set the options back whenever you want and the pictures will return. This option however increases the speed of opera changing tabs my about 3 times so your noble trains should be way quicker than usually. Now there is a nice useful method you can also use with these setting without having to toggle 2/ok button all the time. Press and hold the 2 button and trigger the ok button until the time you need your nobles actually to send (I recommend at least 15 seconds preparation for it) If you are used to send a nuke noble as the first noble attack like I often do, continue the usual procedure, open 4 tabs for the village you are attacking, choose your troops and place your mouse on the ok button. Your screen will now look like this: http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/8026/nobletrainsmo9.jpg Now look at the speed interval between the first and last attack: http://img81.imageshack.us/my.php?image=firstattackuk9.jpg http://img81.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lastattackhv6.jpg Yes, the fake train is timed within 0.1 senseless than 0.09 actually. This will prevent sniping to most players. From now on you can now boast about your user elitenes on the forums and make an ass out of yourself just as I do but am illegal. So yours make minimum 150 millisecond Guide: Farm from list. Start your farming process how your normally do... go to the village you want to farm but instead of clicking on "Send Troops" right click and copy shortcut of the coordinates. Open a mail, in to the to field put your own name. Call the subject whatever you want. In the body type 1| Add in as many different farms as you want. Your mail to yourself should end up looking something like this: 1|2|3 The links take you to the rally point with the coordinates of the village you are attacking already filled in. You will need to enter your troops yourself and to click 'attack' yourself. Guide: abuse of a NO wall situation. Clear a village from your closest nuke, Then send a noble train from the village furthest away. Whilst that's going on, keep sending nukes at it from your closest villages OVER and OVER until the noble train arrives. Any support arriving at that village will be smashed away in manageable pieces instead of a stack. Why does this tend to work? An average player won't think about what you're actually doing to them or why and try to protect their village. There's a certain amount of entertainment to be had from this one, believe me. You just nobled a village and there's support coming in from all over the place from their poorly coordinated tribe. You could let it just sit there, until they recall it. (I've got a guy's support from an enemy tribe on W18 that's been sitting there for 3 months now) but most of the time people recall their units pretty soon after the village is lost. Why give them the chance? Leave the wall at 0. Nuke your new village 1-2 seconds after every wave of support comes in, you get OD-A AND OD-D for the least amount of work and it allows you to damage people who are miles away and don't think when they support others. If you've got an incoming train there's only a handful of troops in the village, there's no shame in losing it, for about 2 seconds... The dirtiest version of this technique is as follows: Noble your own village down to around 20 loyalties. Send the troops you have in the village elsewhere, they're going to die regardless. One of the reasons I insist on people having at least 5 nobles available at any time: This tactic. Time a nuke with a 2 noble train to hit 1-2 seconds AFTER their train. If you're willing to take a 1 in 3 risk of not reclaiming the village, a single attack will do. This is what happens: Their first noble, with nuke, smashes into an empty village and takes it, sitting in the village with the wall demolished , gets hit by the second noble attack, then the third, then the fourth. So far that's some of their offence dead and 4 nobles to rebuild, but you're not quite done... Your nuke then smashes into what's left, with no wall, their remaining offensive units die with minimal losses and you retake the town. End result You lose: a small amount of offensive units, a handful of units that couldn't have defended the town anyway, 1-2 nobles, around 24 hours of rebuilding units across 2 villages. They lose: 4 nobles and a full nuke, rebuild time of about 10 days, Player's self-esteem crushed. That's one way to fight dirty. Sometimes the situation allows for you to be a little more creative with that concept, but that's the general idea. Sniping Mask Of course, the best way to avoid your noble train being sniped is a very tight train (<1 second between 1st and 4th noble). I can snipe those and I've explained how to do that in other guides. If you want to be nasty to an opponent, especially from long range where people get more chances to snipe, try this: 1) Send out your noble train (lets say the train takes 14:46:58 and you release it at 18:00:00 server time)BUT leave 4 rams at home. Rams take 12:40:16 to the same destination. 2) Here comes the math. Noble - Ram = Time Difference. 14:46:58 - 12:40:16 = 2:06:42. Launch Time + Time Difference = Send Time 18:00:00 + 2:06:42 = 20:06:42. 3) Set up a train of 1 ram each with those 4 rams that you left behind and send it at that precise second. Hard to snipe when you don't know what's fake and what's real... if you don't have premium or just haven't labeled your incomings yet, you're screwed for trying to snipe. Can you imagine the panic? ^_^ Lets say that you're going to support a fellow members village on the front-lines with 1 defensive village. Consider these 2 tips: Send 1/4 of a village from 4 villages instead of just a whole D village. Or even 1/8 x 8 if you've got the discipline to do it This way, If it gets attacked you can rebuild the units in 4 or more places at once, speeding up troop production in critical combat situations. (Rebuild rate matters more than anything else in a REAL war) Send each unit type separately. Swords first, then spears, then HC. You want as many units available to get there as fast as possible. Sending all at once will only slow down the faster units. Also, remember to recall them in the same fashion so that they can return and be redistributed faster. Guide: Bookmark farming In Opera and Firefox it’s possible to open up an entire folder of bookmarks at once so what you do is: 1. Send out farm runs for all the villages you want to use. Leave some troops at home to compensate for small losses due to walls, etc. 2. Once you have reports, create a folder and move them there so they won't disappear, then go through them and Bookmark Link for Attack with Same troops. 3. Put all the bookmarks in one folder and make sure to label them so you can easily determine which link corresponds to a village.(You don't want to be hunting for the link if the farm later gets nobled and you want to remove it from the list) 4. When you’re done, just Open All on the folder of bookmarks and just tab and hit ok until you’re done. It does take a while to get this started but once you’re set up it’s only a minute or two to click through all your farm runs. There is another way to farm using Opera's links that avoids having to set up bookmarks. You can use the links feature in Opera to open a folders worth of reports in background tabs, then select the Attack with the same troops link and tab through once, clicking attack in the links section and then a second time clicking ok to launch the attacks. It takes slightly longer to run but is faster to set up and modify. Guide: Nuke The Axemen is a strong offensive unit. They easily forget to protect themselves though. When you know the type of defence configurtion that your enemy have this option [A.1. A.2. A.3.] it´s the best. You can use the offensive unit more powerfull against him. But I just want you to know that making only one type of offensive unit in one village take alot of time. * Combo villages: If you want to make 2 types of units in each offensive village you can use one good combination. I recommend you to play with B.2. and C.2. B.2. army is strong where C.2. army is weak and C.2. army is strong where B.2. army is weak. Some players dont like to make axes and Mounted archers in the same village so here is one good option. * Only one type of offensive army: If you dont have time or patince to make different offensive armies I recommend you to play with D.3. army. D.3. army is very solid against all type of defensive untis It´s not very strong but have one advantage ... dont have any weakness. With D.3 army you can strike without scouting before because he will basically kill what the village has there. Noble trains: A noble train is a sequence of nobles placed in a group of attacks, usually they are sent very close to eachother, (within the same second), if they are sent by someone who is experienced. If not trains can range from 150ms to 5 minutes :p Guide: How to send quick trains Go to the village you want to attack, click "send troops" send all your axes, all of your LC except for 200!! and all your rams, with one noble. Click "attack". Once your window has switched right click on the village you are attacking and hit "open in new tab", this time when sending troops only send 50 Lc and one noble. Repeat this procedure until you have 5 tabs opened. (Web browser) Opera: (recomended) Step 1: After you have your 5 tabs open, to through each one and click the "tab" key. Step 2: Go to your first tab, make sure that your attack troops are in the first attack that you send! Step 3: Click "enter" "2" "enter" "2" "enter" "2" "enter" "2" "enter" as fast as you possibly can Step 4: Go back to your village overveiw and check to make sure that your train isn't under the illegal time. (150ms) Other browsers that I know of you cant send trains as quick, in my opinion Opera is the way to go. Firefox: Step 1: Open your 5 tabs, click "tab" key on each one. Step 2: Hit "enter" on the first tab, then click on the second tab and hit "enter" again. Reapeat this until all your nobles are sent. Internet Explorer: Step 1: Open your 5 tabs, click "tab" key on each one. Step 2: Hit "enter" on the first tab, then click on the second tab and hit "enter" again. Reapeat this until all your nobles are sent. |
